  • Jacky Yeung, MD

    Dr. Jacky Yeung is a co-founder at Intervance, providing unmatched expertise and dedicated leadership to our team. A board, certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, Dr. Yeung specializes in minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, demonstrating a mastery of his field.

    Launching his career with pioneering work that led to an NIH-funded clinical trial for childhood brain cancer, Dr. Yeung has consistently showcased his dedication to innovation and excellence. His groundbreaking research also led him to become the first to publish on the clinical application of AI-assisted brain mapping for brain surgery.

    Prior to Intervance, Dr. Yeung held a distinguished position as a neurosurgeon-scientist at Yale University, where he also completed his post-doctoral fellowship under the tutelage of renowned cancer immunologist, Dr. Lieping Chen. During his tenure at Yale, he made significant strides in cancer research, becoming the first to characterize effective immunotherapy for malignant meningiomas, an achievement that garnered him a national award.

  • Andrea Zannier

    Andrea Zannier, the interim CEO of Intervance, brings over two decades of strategic and executional business leadership. He has demonstrated his acumen through the successful launch and management of new teams, projects, and businesses for renowned institutions like Citibank and Macquarie Bank.

    Prior to Intervance, Andrea honed his strategy and execution skills at globally recognized consulting firms BCG, McKinsey, and Oliver Wyman, where he contributed to their growth and success.

    An MBA graduate from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Andrea's deep-rooted knowledge and expertise fuel Intervance's strategic direction and operations.

  • Sanjesh Narayan

    Sanjesh Narayan, serving as the interim CFO of Intervance, brings 20 years of banking and finance experience to our team. His significant accomplishments include leading the SME business at St George as a Senior Manager, where he effectively piloted the SME program to success, ultimately rolling it out on a national scale. Under his leadership, his team experienced an astonishing annual growth rate of 240% in revenue.

    Sanjesh holds an academic background in Science, with studies in physics and chemistry. Further bolstering his expertise, he has an Advanced Diploma of Management and Marketing from the Management Institute of Australia, a Diploma of Finance from the National Finance Institute, and a Diploma in Project Management from PMP Partners.

  • Seth Barribeau, PhD

    Dr. Barribeau is a co-founder and serves as chief data officer at Intervance. He was a Principal Data Scientist at Ozette Technologies, a biotech company that develops AI-powered solutions for cancer and immunology research. He has over 10 years of experience in applying genomic and transcriptomic approaches to study the evolution and ecology of infectious diseases, with a focus on the innate immune system and trypanosomatid infections.

    His expertise is in evolutionary biology, immunogenomics, and bioinformatics to create innovative and impactful tools and products that advance the understanding and treatment of complex diseases. He has a proven track record of leading and managing both on-site and remote teams for wet-lab and computational projects. He is the author of multiple publications in prestigious journals and collaborations with academic and industry partners.

  • Michael Sughrue, MD

    Dr. Michael Sughrue, a world-renowned neurosurgeon-scientist, serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Omniscient Neurotechnology and is the founder of Cingulum Health. Dr. Sughrue's work is highly respected in the field of neuroscience, with over 230 articles published in scientific journals, marking him as one of the most prolific researchers in his field.

    He achieved a significant milestone in neuroscience with a landmark study that documented every major connection in the human brain in unprecedented detail.

    Dr. Sughrue graduated at the top of his class from Columbia University with an MD, and completed a 7-year Neurosurgery Residency at UCSF, an institution celebrated as one of the best in the world.

    Apart from his roles at Omniscient Neurotechnology and Cingulum Health, Dr. Sughrue also provides his expertise as a senior external adviser to Intervance. His wealth of knowledge and pioneering spirit continue to make significant impacts in the field of neuroscience.
